Divergent Dances: Peterborough

Originally created in 2012, Divergent Dances is a repertoire work of ĀNANDAṀ, revisited through a 3-week residency process in Peterborough. Its choreographic inquiry examines the occupation of dancing bodies in public space and a subversion of spectacle in performance as a gesture towards collective quietude.

“Rather than extenuate the virtuosity of the circus arts form Leary is interested in the quiet, the still, the un-spectacular, and the everyday”
