Collective Space is ĀNANDAM’s home for rehearsal and performance in Toronto. Established in 2011, it supports sustainability, shared resources, and the vital need for affordable, multi-use space for interdisciplinary artistic practices.
Located at 103 Florence Street in Toronto’s west end, Collective Space is co-directed by a cohort of artists with diverse dance practices, united by a commitment to accessibility, professional development and community-centred creation.

Two studios: Mainspace (large, on the ground floor) and Upperspace (smaller, in the mezzanine)
Mainspace: approx 880 square feet of sprung marley floor
Upperspace: approx 600 square feet with wooden percussive floor, private large balcony access and a spacious lounge area with sofas/tables.

Rehearsal — $25 per hour
Performance / Event / Teaching / Video Shoot — $40 per hour (includes use of full space, including the Upperspace)
Upperspace
Rehearsal — $18 per hour
Performance / Event / Teaching / Video Shoot — $25 per hour
Additional Options
Limited Short-term Storage — $20-$50 per week (please email to arrange)

Accessibility
Collective Space at 103 Florence Street is not fully accessible. We have plans for future renovations supported by extensive research and consults for accessible bathrooms and entrances, but as of now, the studio is not accessible.
The Mainspace is located on the ground level and the only accessible entrance into Mainspace is via the open garage door for mobility devices.
The Upperspace is not accessible due to the presence of stairs for entry into the upstairs studio.
Both bathrooms in Upperspace and Mainspace are currently not accessible for mobility devices as of now.
