Production/Stage Manager

For our touring production of Ephemeral Artifacts: Travis Knights to be performed at the MAI in Montreal, May 2022.

Key Dates:

Rehearsals will take place at Collective Space (221 Sterling Road, Toronto) April 18 – 29th, most weekday afternoons.

Tuesday May 3            Evening Run-through (Toronto)

Thursday May 5          Studio Sharing (Toronto)

Monday May 9            Load in at the MAI (Montreal)

May 10 – 11                Tech

Thursday May 12        Opening

Saturday May 14         Closing and Load Out

Remuneration:

In addition to a competitive fee, travel to/from Montreal, accommodation and a meal per diem will be provided.

Responsibilities: 

. oversee all design elements to ensure timely completion 

. production scheduling, including coordination of production meetings with all departments 

. source, manage and enforce a production budget 

. acquisition and delivery of equipment, including returns 

. scheduling and management of volunteers/crew as they relate to the above

. calling of the technical elements of the show during performance

Experience and Qualifications: 

. Two years experience or training

. Exceptional communication, supervisory, and technical skills 

. Experience managing production budgets 

. Strong organizational skills, including balancing multiple responsibilities and effectively meeting deadlines 

. Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team environment 

. Being adaptable and able to work in a changing environment 

. Alignment with the organization’s vision and values

. Creative thinking and problem solving.
