Call To Artist

We are excited for our ongoing collaboration with emerging Curator Nithya Garg and her collective Shared Curation. For 2024 we are partnered together to evolve the annual event for Collective Shivarathiri as a space that can encompass a broader spectrum of South Asian dance and music practices, practitioners and communities.

Revisioned as The Collective Practice Festival, we wish to offer a celebratory space for artists and audiences to reconnect to the roots of their practice. This community festival features dance and music from classical, folk and contemporary lineages.

The Collective Practice Festival responds to community desire for a space informed by the philosophical models that structure many asian art forms. It is a celebration of practice and audience.
